Vase with Gladioli and Chinese Asters is one of more than 35 flower still life's that Van Gogh painted in Paris in the summer of 1886. He chose flowers because he could not afford for models to pose for his pieces. Van Gogh worked with strong colour contrasts and a loose style of painting that he hoped would sell well.
Inspired by Van Gogh’s work, the Chinese Aster Arrangement features red gladiolas, dahlia flowers and paper daisies. Displayed in a glass vase, it will make a classy decoration for any home. Surprise a friend or family member today!
